Giggling Squid - Sevenoaks

“What an absolute find!! As it was mid-week, it was very quiet, which initially concerned me. We decided to chance it anyway. We started with cocktails, which were delicious and pretty. The food was outstanding for the money. The best salt and pepper squid I've ever had (and I have tried a lot). We also had the Chubby Pork Cheeks and they were beautifully cooked and so tender. The portion size was good too. However, the taste bomb that was the mushrooms and crispy tofu in tamarind sauce wrapped in some roti was epic. I couldn't stop eating it for the flavour alone. The staff were attentive but not overpowering. They were friendly and a good laugh actually. Have already recommended and would definitely return to try some other yummy looking dishes. Although it shall be hard not to revert to the same tasty dishes knowing how good they were. Great decision to eat here.”

“Lovely decor and atmosphere in the restaurant, everywhere clean and served quickly by pleasant staff. Food was delicious - my first time trying a massaman curry and I would definitely have it again. Everything flavoursome and served piping hot. Only downside was the portion size of the garlic noodle side, for the price I would have liked slightly more. Allergens were very clearly labelled and they took extra care with my dishes which was really reassuring for someone who gets anxious trying new places. Cocktails were delicious too, will be back!”

“A quick light lunch on a wonderfully sunny day. The outdoor seating was minimal but enough to get the sunshine. Ordered the Zingy Prawns plus the Salt & Pepper Squid for starters from the sharing plate which both were amazing. For mains we went with the Prawn Pad Thai which also was great. I really liked the idea of having the peanuts on the side to allow for me to add the quantity I wanted. Overall a great meal. Would come definitely come back.”

“Food was good, was very full by the end, the golden money bags and the pork dumplings were my favourite. The hot ginger cocktail was my dad’s favourite. However we were seated right next to the stairs even though we made a reservation. Service was good aswell even tho it was busy, servers were attentive.”
